Synopsis
A retired CIA agent is haunted by both the agency he once worked for and his own nightmares when an unknown man suddenly visits him after nearly three decades. Production was suspended in March 2020 due to government restrictions. During that time, Jeff Bridges was diagnosed and then treated for non-Hodgkins lymphoma. When he recovered, the series returned to production. Bridges called the return a comeback after a “long weekend.” podcast in July 2022. Appeared at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards (2024). There were high hopes, but 65% is overdrawn dialogue and reaction shots. We get the point, they are scared/worried/angry. No upselling needed. Episodes 1-2 were promising, but it seems like they didn’t drop any edits that would help the series. They should play this for insomniacs who don’t respond to standard medications.
